报告题目：On the Euler-Poisson equation for ions

报告摘要：In this talk, we will introduce some recent results on the Euler-Poisson equation for ions. In particular, we will consider the derivation of the KdV and the Nonlinear Schrodinger equation from the Euler-Poisson equation and other related limiting problems.

报告人简介： 蒲学科，男，理学博士，广州大学数学与信息科学学院教授、博士生导师。2009年毕业于中国工程物理研究院研究生部，获理学博士学位，应用数学方向，导师是我国著名数学家郭柏灵院士。主要从事非线性偏微分方程的数学理论研究。相关文章文章发表在Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., SIAM J. Math. Anal., Calc. Var., J. Differential Equations等数学期刊中，出版专著4部，多次获得国家自然科学基金委资助。
